Costs Overview

What I’m covering, what you’ll handle, and how to keep Geneva fun, not stressful.

Budget

A weekend of Rebel Hope, with clear hints on what to budget for Geneva without killing the magic.

Solo Rebel

Core weekend events (food, drinks, venue bits) are a gift from me: you don’t pay any kind of entry fee.

Your main costs are travel to Geneva and where you sleep. For most people, that means something like: flights or trains CHF 150–400 (wildly variable by origin), two nights’ accommodation CHF 120–300, and local transport / coffees / cocktails around CHF 80–150. Think of a baseline budget of roughly CHF 350–850 for the whole adventure, depending on how space-opera or indie you go with your choices.

Rebel Duo

Optional extras if you feel like levelling up the cinematic experience: a slightly fancier hotel or boutique guesthouse (add ~CHF 50–100 per night), extra dinners or brunches beyond the main gatherings (CHF 40–80 per meal, depending on how rebel you go with wine), and any side-quests—museums, boat rides, lake swims with post‑apocalyptic views of the Alps (CHF 20–60+). None of this is required; they’re just bonus chapters if your budget and curiosity are aligned.

Drinks budget (Cocktails could easily be close to 20 CHF!)

Full Squadron

Suggested budgets, depending on your current galaxy: shoestring rebel (stay with friends / hostel, cook some meals): around CHF 300–450 for the weekend; balanced Jedi (mid‑range hotel, a few meals out, normal Geneva bar behaviour): around CHF 500–800; deluxe space wizard (nice hotel, taxis, cocktails that glow in the dark): CHF 900+. Wherever you land on this spectrum, you are equally wanted in the story—plan what feels comfortable and we’ll make the rest work.

A long, cinematic hallway of a boutique Geneva hotel, rendered in deep shadows and pools of light, as if from a stylish noir film. At the center, a single dark door stands slightly ajar, from which a subtle, warm golden glow spills onto the patterned carpet, hinting at the festivities of Episode 50: Rebel Hope inside. On the wall beside the door, a minimalist sign shows abstract icons for dates, accessibility, and multilingual inclusivity instead of words. The lighting is directional and low-key, with dramatic contrasts and soft lens flare from a hidden source. Shot from a low angle, the corridor stretches into darkness behind, creating suspense and the feeling of being on the verge of entering a private screening or birthday scene.
